Youth Protection It has been announced that every registered adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America must take youth protection training EVERY year. This course is now available on-line. To complete the on-line training you must view the entire course and take a test. At the completion of the test it will ask for your information to send you a certificate. To access the on-line youth protection training, go to this site and click on the screen where it says "Youth Protection Training Online". | Troop Meeting Cancellation Policy - Troop meetings are automatically cancelled if the Prince Georges County School system closes due to inclement weather. Do not expect a phone call if the school system is shut down. If PG county schools close due to something other then inclement weather, the meeting is still on. This policy applies to normal meetings, PLCs, SM Meetings and Committee Meetings. Troop Event Cancellation Policy - Camping trips, service projects, etc. are NOT automatically cancelled if PG County Schools are closed. Phone calls WILL be made to all people scheduled to go to the event if we need to cancel it. |
